Police: Woman brings pistol and beer to police station

AUSTELL, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police in Austell said Wednesday, a women showed up at the police station with a half empty beer can and a pistol.

Officers quickly arrested 58-year-old Catherine McFarland.

According to reports, she fired off her pistol in her front yard to get officers to come to her home.

When they did not show, she went to the police department.
