Greer teen accused of sexual relationship with girl, 13

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A 17-year-old Greer man is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said they were called on Sunday after the girl and her friend were found not far from suspect Hunter Watson's home.

Deputies said Watson was with his mother when they picked up the two girls, who he knew, and went back to his home. Deputies said Watson told his mom the girls were both 16.

After spending some time at the home, deputies said both girls left and walked away and were found a short time later.

According to the arrest warrant, Watson had sex with the girl knowing she was 13. He was arrested on Monday and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
