GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -
An argument over noodles in Greenwood on Saturday led the arrest of a man after police said they found marijuana in the home.
According to an incident report from the Greenwood Police Department, officers were called to a home on Truett Street about 10:30 p.m.
The report said that arriving officers found a woman on the front porch who had been crying and smelled burned marijuana coming from the home. Police asked the woman what had happened, and she said that she and her boyfriend, identified as 24-year-old Ricky Griffin, had gotten into an argument about noodles, according to the report.
According to the report, Griffin appeared from the back of the home and concurred with his girlfriend's statement. The report said that when police asked about the smell of marijuana inside, he said he didn't smell anything.
A search of the home turned up 3.1 pounds of marijuana, a bottle of pills, digital scales, a revolver and bullets, according to the report.
Griffin was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a stolen pistol.
