GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A manhunt has been called off Tuesday night after a robbery at a Greenville restaurant.

The robbery happened at Samantha's Restaurant on East North Street at about 9 p.m.

Lt. Tim Ridgeway, of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said the man fled the Mexican fast food restaurant on foot.

Ridgeway said a man walked into the restaurant and pulled a gun on an employee.

That worker got away and ran for help at a nearby bakery, Ridgeway said.

No one was injured.

Ridgeway said deputies brought in tracking dogs and searched nearby for the robber but never found him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
