SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Police have arrested a man in connection with the robbery of a Spartanburg bank Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery happened at 2:47 p.m. at the TD Bank branch at 340 E. Main St.
Capt. Regina Nowak, of the Spartanburg Public Safety Department, said 45-year-old Nicky Davis walked into the bank with his hand in his pocket, showed a note to a teller and demanded money. She said the teller then gave Davis some cash and he fled the scene in his girlfriend's vehicle.
Nowak said Davis was arrested just before 5 p.m. and charged with robbery.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Nowak said Davis' girlfriend was not involved in the robbery.
