Final 2 suspects in Feb. manhunt arrested in Columbia

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
The final two suspects named in connection with a manhunt in Greenville last month were arrested in Columbia on Friday, police said.
On Feb. 21, Greenville County deputies said U.S. Marshals tried to stop a vehicle with four people inside at the intersection of Augusta Street and West Tallulah Drive. They said that when the vehicle stopped, four men jumped out and fled.
One of the men, 17-year-old Michael Lee, was quickly arrested. The other three men escaped.
The following day, Greenville police named 17-year-old Javon Mack as one of the men.
On Thursday, Public Information Officer Jonathan Bragg, of the Greenville Police Department, said officers received a tip that Mack and the third man in the car, identified as 18-year-old Marquis Blassingame, were in Columbia. He said Marshals arrested both men in Columbia just before 9 p.m.
Lee, Mack and Blassingame were also named as suspects in the Feb. 16 robbery of a clothing store on Poinsett Highway.
Investigators in that case said Lee, Blassingame, Mack and 26-year-old Ali Alatif held several people at gunpoint and duct taped one worker during an attempted robbery.
When a family member walked into the store, the men fled before they could steal anything, deputies said.
According to the warrants that prompted Marshals to stop the vehicle on Feb. 21, Mack and Lee shot at two people on Feb. 10, wounding one person.
All three men face several charges in both Greenville and Greenville County.
