Deputies: 1 killed in attempted murder-suicide

BREVARD, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Transylvania County deputies said two people were shot Sunday morning in an attempted murder-suicide.

Deputies said a shooting happened at a home on Oak Ridge Road, just outside of Brevard, where they found a 41-year-old Charlotte Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies said they found 47-year-old Christopher Glichowski dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Jones was transported to an area hospital for treatment where she remained in critical condition on Monday, deputies said.

Deputies said both the male and female lived at the home.
