The Ludlow Fire Department confirmed to CBS 3 that an elderly woman who had been missing since early Sunday afternoon has been found.
While they are not sure of the woman's condition, they said she appears to be healthy.
State and local police, as well as environmental police and the local fire department, all helped in the search.
The woman, in her 70s, parked her car near the Ludlow Reservoir, telling her family she was going to take a walk on a trail in the wooded area known as Facing Rock.
That was about 1 p.m. Sunday.
The woman had not been seen since and she did not return to her car.
Authorities searched the woods with a helicopter and police dogs, as well as on foot and using ATVs.
The fire department had said the description of the woman was limited. They said she is white, about 70 years old and believed to be dressed for the cold.
