Police said a Jonesville mother upset at her young son's arrest started cursing at law enforcement, kicking one officer during her subsequent arrest.

Union police said they brought in a group of minors accused of shooting a BB gun at a cars in Foster Park on Saturday.

When the parents were called in to the police department, officers said one mother was loud, yelling obscenities, even cursing at an officer and called him fat.

Police said they went to arrest 38-year-old Lawanda Foster on a disorderly conduct charge, but as they tried to handcuff her, she ran outside until they were finally able to stop her.

They said as they were walking her back inside the building, she continued to resist and kicked one officer in the shin.

Foster was also charged with resisting arrest.

Police did not say what charges they juveniles faced or how many minors were arrested.
