Spartanburg man killed when 4-wheeler lands on him

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg man was killed when a four-wheeler landed on him Saturday, officials said.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the body of 78-year-old Herbert Geier was found in a creek near his Mt. Zion Road home.

Clevenger said it appeared Geier backed the vehicle off a steep embankment. He said Geier then fell off the vehicle and into a creek, where the four-wheeler landed on him.
