TIGERVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The inaugural South Carolina College All Star Bowl comes to North Greenville University's Younts Stadium Saturday, March 23.

The South Carolina College All Star Bowl pits a team representing the Lowcountry against a team from the Upstate. Doors will open at noon, followed by kickoff at 3 p.m.

Both teams consist of players from Palmetto State colleges and universities and/or athletes who played high school football here, but went out of state to play college. Some players will return from schools such as Clemson, University of South Carolina, University of Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Navy and more.

Team Upstate will be led by head coach Danny Ford and Willie Jeffries will lead Team Lowcountry.

During the pregame, New York Life will be onsite doing identification kits for children and NFL Experience will be there with bounce houses, a football toss and more.

Tickets can be purchased online or at Flour Field in the West End where a post-game party is being held featuring The Blue Dogs.

Leading up to the big game there are also a number of opportunities to see and support the players. Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the NFL will be hosting a combine, where players will be evaluated by scouts. Then at 2:30 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. players will meet for practice.

Both the combine and practices will take place at Younts Stadium and will be open to the public.
