GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Freshman South Carolina Senator Tim Scott opened his office in Greenville on Monday.

The North Charleston Republican welcomed Upstate constituents to the new office located downtown on Broad Street.

Scott is scheduled to meet with other constituents at his office in Columbia and Charleston this week.

Gov. Nikki Haley named then-Rep. Scott to replace former Sen. Jim DeMint, who stepped down to lead the Heritage Foundation.
