SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Vandals left their mark in the form of expletives and sexually explicit comments in a Simpsonville neighborhood Friday night.
Master Deputy Laura Campbell, of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said during the overnight hours someone used spray paint to vandalize vehicles, homes, campers and lawn accessories in the Sparrows Point neighborhood.
Some of the messages included "This sucks doesn't it," and "I love [expletive]."
Most of the vandalism happened at homes on Karsten Creek Drive, Ventana Court and Staffordshire Way, according to incident reports. Damage was also reported at homes on Roper Mountain and Squires Creek roads.
The damage totaled $20,535, Campbell said.
Anyone with information about the crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME (864-232-7463).
