ARCADIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Spartanburg County mother said her 2-year-old son was left with a bruise on his face after someone in a passing car pelted him with candy.
Brittany Taylor said she and her two sons were walking to the post office in Arcadia on Tuesday morning when someone passing by in a white SUV threw candy at them. She said her youngest son was hit just below his temple, which caused a bruise.
"I mean, that's crazy," Taylor said. "You're not even safe in your own small [town] to walk with your children. That's ridiculous."
Taylor said she reported the incident to deputies, but Master Deputy Kevin Bobo said the sheriff's office has no record of a report being filed.
