SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Investigators said they are looking for the man who held up a Spartanburg County convenience store Wednesday night.
The robbery happened about 9:20 p.m. at the Lil Cricket at 1980 Chesnee Hwy.
According to an incident report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, the gun-wielding man walked into the store, pointed the gun at a clerk and demanded money. The clerk laid the cash drawer from the register on the counter before the man grabbed the cash and fled the store.
The man was described as black, about 6'1" tall, wearing a white and red baseball cap and a light gray, zip-up hooded sweatshirt with black vertical stripes on both sleeves. The man was armed with a silver gun, according to the incident report.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
