GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said they are looking for a group of teens whose crime spree included vandalizing a downtown Greenville restaurant with ketchup.

Greenville Police Public Information Officer Jonathan Bragg said that about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, the teens walked in to Grill Marks at 209 S. Main St. and, using the ketchup bottles on the tables, squirted the tomato-based condiment on the floors and tables. He said officers found the bottles laying on the road when they arrived.

Bragg said that about the same time as the ketchup incident, someone committed an attempted armed robbery at the corner of S. Main Street and E. McBee Avenue, and another person reported an assault in Falls Park. He said the people who are believed to have committed the assault were arrested.

The vandalism, attempted robbery and assault were all committed by teens, Bragg said.

Bragg said investigators believe all the teens were together at some point in the night and then dispersed to commit the crimes.

Anyone with information about the cases was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME (864-232-7463).
