Deputies seek robber after Dollar General held up

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies said they were searching for a robber after he held up a Dollar General store Tuesday morning.

Chad McBride, with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, said a man entered the store at 2835 Main St., pulled a handgun and demanded money.

McBride said the man ran away behind the store, but they don't know if he got away with any cash.

Deputies and search dogs were out looking for the man following the robbery.

McBride said no one was injured during the hold-up.
