We've had above average temperatures much of this week so far, and that trend continues today. Mostly sunny skies bring temperatures into the low 80s Upstate today, and close to 80° in Western N.C. towns. Tonight, expect clouds to increase, keeping temperatures mild in the mid 60s Upstate and upper 50s in N.C. Thursday, mostly cloudy skies turn cloudy through the afternoon as showers and storms roll in, temperatures staying cooler in the low to mid 70s. Overnight Thursday, storms continue, and should dwindle in the morning Friday. By Friday afternoon, clouds decrease and we're back to sunshine before the weekend begins.
