GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

To highlight the end of their respective spring practices, both the Gamecocks and Tigers will take to the gridiron on Saturday for the teams' annual spring games.

Often treated like the spring semester's version of homecoming, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina athletics programs have full weekends planned for fans of football and sports, with many home games, activities and even a concert or two.

Clemson's Solid Orange Weekend has a variety of home games slated throughout the weekend. Tiger baseball and women's tennis teams have home games while the women's soccer and volleyball teams will play spring exhibition games.

In addition to cheering on their Tigers at those games, the Spring Football Game's kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday. Before kickoff, fans and families can attend Be a T.I.G.E.R! Field Day on the Lawn of Littlejohn and then Clemson Sons Bowl, which pits former Tigers against each other in a flag football game.

South of Clemson in Columbia, South Carolina has a variety of events planned for Garnet and Black Game Fan Fest Saturday morning.

Singer Patrick Davis is giving a concert surrounded by tailgate and cornhole competitions, a bouncy house and other activities for kids, a meet-and-greet with the cheerleaders and Cocky the mascot.

Kickoff for the Spring Game is 1 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks' men's tennis and softball teams have games scheduled throughout the weekend as well.
