GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said tips from the public led to the arrest of two teens accused of vandalizing a Greenville restaurant with ketchup.

Greenville police spokesman Jonathan Bragg said they arrested two juveniles, ages 14 and 16,  in connection with the vandalism to Grill Marks at 209 S. Main St. on April 3.

Bragg said the vandals used the ketchup bottles on the tables and squirted the tomato-based condiment on the floors and tables. He said officers found the bottles laying on the road when they arrived.

About the same time, police said teens were involved in an attempted robbery and assault in downtown Greenville.

The incidents took place during spring break.
