SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies hope someone will recognize a man accused of using someone else's credit card to go on an Upstate shopping spree worth more than $2,800.

Spartanburg County deputies said the victim reported his card stolen on March 27. The man told deputies he last used his card on March 26 at the Bi-Lo store on Southport Road but did not realize it was missing until the next day.

He said when he checked the credit card company, several charges had been made at a Spartanburg Target, the One Stop in Roebuck, Academy Sports, Toys R Us and two Walmart stores before he canceled his card, deputies said.

Deputies said they reviewed surveillance from one of the Walmarts and Academy Sports to find the suspect on camera.

The man was described as wearing a navy blue jogging suit, a dark hat, had a mustache and goatee and was driving a black truck.

If anyone recognizes this individual or has any information about this case, we ask that they call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
