SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg police are looking for a man who they said stole a car that was parked and running at a local Spinx on Tuesday.

Police said the car's owner had stopped at the Spinx at 1507 W. O. Ezell Blvd. to get some cold medicine and left her car running outside on April 5 about 3:30 a.m.

When the woman walked back outside, her car was gone, police said.

The car is a silver 2006 Honda Accord with South Carolina plates.

Police said the thief was dropped off, went inside the store and then stole the car before the victim left. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Spartanburg Public Safety or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
