Spartanburg store sells winning $200K ticket

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Someone will soon be $200,000 richer and won't owe taxes on their winnings after playing the South Carolina Education Lottery's newest game.

Lottery officials said a winning Carolina Cash 6 ticket was sold at the Money Tree Check Cashing at 780 John B. White Sr. Blvd. for Monday night's drawing.

The new game offers a $200,000 taxes paid reward.

The winning numbers were 1, 3, 12, 17, 30 and 32. The winner has until 180 days from Monday to claim his or her prize at the lottery office in Columbia.

More than 16,600 Carolina Cash 6 players won prizes from $2 up to $200,000 taxes paid in Monday's drawing.

The odds of winning $200,000 taxes paid are 1 in 920,227.

Carolina Cash 6 tickets went on sale Tuesday, April 2. If players match all six numbers they win $200,000 taxes paid. Tickets are $2 and available wherever lottery tickets are sold.
