An Upstate pit bull will be spending the next 10 days away from home after officials said he attacked a woman in Spartanburg.
Spartanburg Environmental Enforcement said the 2-year-old pit bull brutally attacked Norma Sanders Tuesday afternoon on Southstar Street. They said Sanders was bitten on her face, throat and thigh. Investigators said the dog attacked the woman as she went to tell the dog owner her pet was loose and running around the neighborhood.
The dog will be quarantined for 10 days to verify rabies vaccination.
