While college football and basketball seasons are months away, Upstate Gamecock fans have the chance for some fun Wednesday night.
The Third Annual Fan Fest tour will make a stop in Spartanburg at the Marriot Hotel at 299 N. Church St.
The Gamecock Club event brings in the "Head Ball Coach" Steve Spurrier and men's basketball coach Frank Martin as speakers along with other South Carolina coaches.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and costs $5 cash per person.
Attendees can get photos with the coaches along with Cocky and the cheerleaders. Several football and baseball trophies, including the Outback Bowl trophy, the Hardees Trophy and the Baseball National Championship trophies will also be on display for photo-ops.
There are also several family-friendly activities planned.
In addition, Spurrier will bring back the popular game ball fundraiser in which he will sign souvenir footballs celebrating the 2012 record-setting season for $89.99.
The Spartanburg stop is the third of six cities along the Fan Fest tour. So far fans have come out in Florence and Charleston and have the chance to celebrate in York on May 1, in Greenville at Flour Field on May 2, and in Atlanta on May 9 at Turner Field.
