Over the next five days, Democratic Senate Candidate Ed Markey will cross the state as part of his campaign's grassroots Get Out The Vote (GOTV) effort leading up to the Democratic primary on April 30.
Markey will be joined by elected leaders, grassroots supporters and community volunteers to mobilize many of the more than 125 GOTV events planned throughout the state.
Thousands of volunteers will join Markey's grassroots campaign in knocking on doors, making phone calls and holding events throughout the state to get out the vote.
Markey will kick off his statewide GOTV tour at events in Western Massachusetts in Dalton, Springfield and Northampton on Thursday.
On Friday Markey will meet with supporters in Barnstable, New Bedford, Fall River and Taunton.
Markey will then visit GOTV events in Somerville, Arlington, Lynn, Beverly, Lowell and Lawrence on Saturday.
On Sunday, April 28, Markey will join volunteers at events in Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Brookline, Framingham and Worcester.
Markey will be talking with neighbors, volunteers and supporters in his hometown of Malden on Monday, April 29.
