COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A $5 scratch-off led to a big payout for an Abbeville man this week.

South Carolina Education Lottery officials said the man won $150,000 in the $150 Grand game.

The winner told the lottery he did not have any extravagant plans for his winnings but he was going to quit playing while he was ahead.

The man bought the scratch-off at the Quick Pantry at 305 S. Main St. in Abbeville, which will receive a $1,500 commission for selling the claimed ticket.

As of Tuesday, there are four $150,000 prizes left in the game and the odds of winning are 1 in 480,000.
