GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenwood police said they arrested a local man after receiving a call from someone saying, "He is naked and dancing around in front of children."

Police were called to apartments on Holman Street about 8:30 p.m. Friday after they received two similar calls about a naked man.

When officers arrived, they said they found a man without any underwear on and his pants around his ankles standing in front of a 40-person crowd, mostly children.

The police report stated the man, later identified as 35-year-old Sebastian Thomas, quickly pulled up his pants and started to walk away. Police said Thomas did not have on a shirt, shoes or socks and his pants were on inside out.

When they stopped Thomas, he told them he did not need to talk with them and became irate and belligerent, according to the report.

Officers asked if he had been drinking, to which Thomas replied they didn't need to worry about what he was doing, the report stated.

Police said they asked Thomas to calm down, he began swinging his arms at them, hitting an officer on his arm. When police asked him about what he was doing with the kids, he told them to "bother someone else" and "I have a lawyer and I have already filed a lawsuit," according to the report.

Thomas was told he was under arrest on charges of indecent exposure, public drunk, disorderly conduct and assault and battery, but police said he refused to turn around to be handcuffed.

He tried to pull away and eventually fell on his back as officers tried to subdue him, the report stated. Police said he was finally cuffed and also charged with resisting arrest.

Police said Thomas tried to resist getting in and out of the patrol car and had to be forced to walk into the county jail, where officers realized he was bleeding on his foot. The report said officers had to force Thomas back in the car to take him to the hospital where he was restrained to a bed.

Thomas then began to spit on the floor, requiring officers to put a spit hood on him so nurses could treat his injury, police said.

During the process, police said Thomas gave a few fake names but they later confirmed his identity through a mugshot. He was also charged with giving a false name to police.
