Police seek 2 after car broken into at popular parking garage

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police are looking for two people as persons of interest after a car was broken into and its license plate was stolen at a downtown Greenville parking garage.

Lt. Jason Rampey with the Greenville Police Department said two people were seen in the Richardson Street parking garage at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday.

About the same time, Rampey said the crimes took place.

Rampey said they are looking for the two people, believed to be a man and a woman, as persons of interest.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
