The family of a missing Orangeburg County nurse who has been presumed dead by investigators may finally know where her body was dumped.

Police say 40-year-old Kimberly Parrish has been missing since Dec. 21. Investigators arrested 37-year-old Kenneth Cutter and charged him with murder almost a week later without locating Parrish's body.

According to The Orangeburg Times and Democrat, Cutter revealed details about where Parrish was taken to a fellow inmate.

"He stated what he was in jail for and that he said that he fed her body to alligators," Orangeburg County Sheriff's Investigator Craig Davis said during court testimony on Tuesday.

Officials say Cutter was Parrish's friend for at least four months. Investigators eventually located a bloody nurse's uniform with stab wounds and blood evidence at an abandoned home in front of Cutter's mother's residence.

The Times and Democrat's report says enough blood was found in the home to determine that Parrish could no longer be alive.

The report goes on to say investigators found an area inside that residence that was cleaned with bleach and believed to once be the location of a carpet or rug that was missing. Witnesses at a local trash dump told investigators they saw a man dumping a portion of rolled up carpet.

Cutter's case was moved to Circuit Court where it will now be put on the General Sessions docket. The case could be heard within one year.
