GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said after another victim spoke up, investigators filed more charges against a Greenville man accused of sexually assaulting children while employed at an Upstate church more than 20 years ago.

Greenville County deputies said in 1984, 58-year-old Timothy Lee Anders assaulted the victim who was 9 at the time. They said the incidents happened several more times through 1987.

According to the new warrants, Anders knew the girl through church and visited her at home, threatening her not to tell anyone what happened between them.

Last week, deputies said the first victim came forward and told them Anders sexually assaulted him during an eight-year period dating back to 1981 while Anders was employed as a maintenance person at Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church.

Deputies filed a total of 27 charges against Anderson on Friday pertaining to the first two victims.

On Thursday, deputies said the additional charges were filed - three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree and two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree.

Anders remains in jail without bond.
