ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies said they made two arrests in connection with two armed robberies almost a year later.

The first robbery happened on June 8, 2012 at the Check 'N Go store located on Pearman Dairy Road.

Deputies said two bandana-clad men armed with guns rushed into the store, demanded money and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Surveillance video showed one of the men behind the counter during the robbery.

Ezra Pressley, 27, was arrested in connection with that case on Tuesday, deputies said.

Deputies said he was arrested at the home of 21-year-old Melanie Vasquez, who was also arrested in connection with an unrelated July 28, 2012 robbery at the Dollar General on Pelzer Highway in Easley.

During the Dollar General robbery, deputies said a man dressed all in black robbed the store and just before the robbery, a woman wearing an Elmo T-shirt walked around inside the store then left. Deputies released photos of that woman as a person of interest in the case shortly after it happened.

Deputies said both Pressley and Vasquez face federal charges. Deputies have not said if they made arrests of any other suspects connected to both cases.
