As the upper level low that brought us significant rain over the weekend slides east, we linger in an area of unstable air and moisture that could bring a few scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight. Overall, expect a mix of clouds and sun today, with highs in the low to mid 60s. Overnight we could see a few more showers, with lows in the low 50s Upstate, upper 40s for western NC. Wednesday we'll see lingering showers and a possible storm, though we'll begin to warm up with highs in the low 70s Upstate, upper 60s for mountain towns. Finally, we'll dry out entirely on Thursday, with temperatures back where they should be this time of year in the upper 70s Upstate, and low 70s for western NC.
