GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said a 16-year-old girl was killed in a rollover crash Sunday afternoon.

Dill said Kaitlin Haynes died after being ejected from a Ford F-150 alongside Jug Factory Road at about 4 p.m.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a 17-year-old female driver ran off the road, over corrected and then ran off the other side of the road, causing the truck to flip.

Troopers said the driver was not hurt.

Dill said the victim was a sophomore at Eastside High School.

Haynes was not wearing a seat belt.

Karen Strobel lives a few feet away from the accident and tried to help the two teens after the crash.

"It just happened. You can't really blame anybody. God saw what he wanted and he took it,"said Strobel.

School officials said counselors will be available at Eastside High School on to help grieving students and staff members.
