BUCKEYE, AZ (CBS5) -

The Justice Courthouse in Buckeye was evacuated while a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office bomb squad investigated a suspicious package Monday morning.

Court security discovered a laptop-style case in a trash can outside the courthouse at 21749 W. Yuma Rd., said Deputy Joaquin Enriquez.

He said a robot was also used to investigate the package.

Enriquez said the entire complex was evacuated while the investigation continued.
