For thirteen years, BMW has been hosting the charity Pro-Am golf tournament in the Upstate, and no one hit a hole-in-one on the 9th hole at Thornblade to win a brand new BMW - until now.
On Thursday afternoon, amateur golfer Walt Dennis from Columbus, OH aced the 154-yard hole to win a brand new BMW 325i.
Day two at the Pro-Am begins Friday with four professionals starting the day at the top of the leaderboard: Hudson Swafford, Zack Miller, Franklin Corpening and Matt Davidson, all sitting at -9.
There are still tickets available to all of the tournaments taking place at three different courses: Thornblade, Chanticleer and The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The tournament also features several celebrity amateurs competitors including actor John O'Hurley, who said he really loves to play in the tournament.
