Missing Asheville man found in Greenville Co.

Deputies said a man reported missing from his Asheville assisted living home was found alive, but unresponsive in Greenville County on Monday.

Greenville County deputies said someone spotted a car with an unresponsive man inside of it along Highway 25 near Gap Creek Road about 5:30 p.m. Monday and let a nearby security guard at the Cliffs Valley community know.

Deputies responded to the scene and the man, confirmed to be 76-year-old Albert Francis, was taken by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A Silver Alert was issued for Parsons on Friday after he left his assisted living facility in Asheville.

The hospital was unable to release any information about his condition on Tuesday.
