SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Hot air balloons, live music and festive fun will fill the skies of Simpsonville starting Friday as Aloft kicks off.

The annual four-day Memorial Weekend festival started Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in Simpsonville Heritage Park and runs until Monday night.

Festival goers have a variety of options and activities, including watching the launch of dozens of hot air balloons into the skies; an adventure zone with zip lines; obstacle courses; bungee jump and climbing wall; a corn hole tournament; amusement rides; a Boy Scout camping adventure; and the FOX Carolina Family Fun Zone.

To headline the weekend, dozens of artists will perform at the Charter Amphitheatre, including Outshyne, Corey Smith, Third Eye Blind and Sister Hazel.
