ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they were called to an Asheville crash Friday night where they found a gunshot victim, but they are still working to learn where the shooting took place.

Buncombe County deputies said about 11:40 p.m. they responded to the wreck with the victim at 235 Mills Gap Road, the site of the old CTS plant.

The victim was taken to Mission Hospital and underwent surgery, but deputies said they have not had a chance to talk to him to find out where and when the shooting happened.

Deputies said they have no suspects yet, but they were trying to find a blue Ford that may be involved.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.
