A restaurant chain in Las Vegas plans to reward people who have "burger" in their name on National Hamburger Day.
Smashburger locations plan to give a free Classic Smash sandwich to people have "Burger" or its variants in their name. Those variations, for example, include Berger, Weinberger or Rosenberger, to name a few.
All five Smashburger locations in southern Nevada will be giving away the free burgers on Tuesday only. Proof of identity is required, the restaurant said.
In addition, Smashburger's location near UNLV on Maryland Parkway is slated to host former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman at 11 a.m.
Goodman will man the grill and sign copies of his memoir Being Oscar, the restaurant said.
