UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Union man was arrested after police said he cursed and threw something at a Walmart employee, upset he was made to wait.

Union police said they were called to the Walmart on the North Duncan Bypass about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after a shopper upset he was made to wait to check out, threw a card at a worker and cursed her out.

The employee said she was helping a customer with a phone, making 53-year-old Dennis Thurman wait about two minutes before she could check him out, according to the police report.

The report stated when she went to ring Thurman up, he said he waited 15 minutes and said she should have helped him first.

She told Thurman he could have checked out at the front of the store and that's when he threw the card, hitting in the face, police said.

Police arrested Thurman, charging him with disorderly conduct.
