A Pacolet man is accused of exposing himself at the local library, according to police.

Pacolet police said they were called to the public library on Monday after a man was seen with his pants and underwear pulled down to his knees at the West Main Street library.

An alert was sent out for the man's car, which was later located at the man's home, police said.

According to the police report, the library's surveillance caught the man drive up to the rear of library, walk up to the door and expose himself, leaving evidence on the door, then he drove away.

According to the police report, the suspect, 43-year-old Wayne Fowler, works for Broome High School and he went to work after he was at the library, eventually telling an officer at the school what happened.

Fowler was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.
