South Carolina fell to North Carolina in game three of the rain-delayed Super Regional series on Tuesday.

Because of the weather forecast, game officials postponed the game from Monday night until noon on Tuesday to finish the NCAA Division One Super Regional series.

The Tar Heels were able to come back from a 4-2 deficit to win it 5-4 in the top of the eighth inning of the five-day, three-game series.

The Gamecocks beat the University of North Carolina 8-0 on Sunday after falling to the Tar Heels 6-5 in the first game.

North Carolina will head to the College World Series in Omaha, NE.
