GLADSTONE, OR (KPTV) -

A Kirkland, WA, woman with cerebral has finished her 300-mile mission of riding her wheelchair from Everett all the way to Gladstone.

Tania Finlayson arrived Wednesday afternoon after leaving on Saturday as part of her "Oregon Dash for Puppy Cash" journey.

She is trying to raise $42,000 for Guide Dogs of America, which is enough for a dog and training.

The California-based charity provides dogs and training for people who are blind or have impaired vision.

Finlayson's wheelchair is controlled with her chin, and a generator had to be added to make the whole trip.

Her husband, Ken, accompanied her most of the way on his bike.

Their family, friends and members of the Machinists Union District Lodge 751 supported her along the way.
