SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police are looking for whoever robbed a Spartanburg store with a shotgun Monday.

Spartanburg police said the holdup happened at the Quick Trip at 489 W. Main St. about 5:30 a.m.

Victims said the robber had the silver shotgun tucked in his waistband, then pointed it at employees and ordered them to the ground so he could walk behind the counter and take all of the money from the cash register, according to police.

The man put the gun back in his waistband and ran away on foot, police said. He was described as 5'8" to 5'10" tall, medium build, weighed about 150 to 170 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt, dark jean shorts and black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
