ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Upstate man and racecar driver faces a third sex crime charge after deputies said a second victim came forward.

Anderson County deputies said Ralph Carnes, 54, was charged with a second count of committing a lewd act on a child under sixteen, after the second victim came forward following Carnes' initial arrest on June 13.

The victim said Carnes inappropriately touched her between Jan. 1987 and Dec. 1990 when she was between 8 and 11 years old, according to deputies.

Carnes races late-model stock cars in the Upstate and at the Anderson Motor Speedway and was charged on June 13 with criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree and committing a lewd act on a child under sixteen when the initial victim reported she was sexually assaulted between 2001 and 2010, deputies said.

Carnes is being held without bond at the Anderson County Detention Center.

Deputies said additional charges could be filed against Carnes.
