PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Dacusville woman accused of killing her two children will not have a preliminary hearing on Monday, July 8, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Suzanna Simpson shot her 5-year-old son Sawyer Simpson, 7-year-old daughter Carly Simpson and tried to kill her husband 34-year-old Michael Simpson at their Cherokee Trail home on May 14 before leaving and wrecking a truck down the road.

Simpson is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center where she continues to recover from injuries she received during the wreck.

Simpson was scheduled to have the hearing but her defense waived the right, canceling it.
