SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

High winds caused damage at Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport on Friday night.

Airport officials told FOX Carolina that 10 hangars were damaged around 8:30 p.m. They said six to seven planes have wind damage too.

The hangars are all owned by the City of Spartanburg.

Crews will be out at the airport cleaning up today. Airport officials hope to start repairs Monday.
