SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg man has been charged after an incident where a gun was pointed at an infant and marijuana was stolen, according to a sheriff's office report.

Jamel Thompson, 23, was charged with first-degree burglary and armed robbery in connection with an incident that happened on June 15, according to Spartanburg County deputies.

According to the report, the victim was at home with his son when three men entered the house. One of the suspects then pointed a gun at the victim and the infant, demanding he give him marijuana, the reports states.

The suspects took an ounce of marijuana and stole almost $500 in cash.

On July 5 a judge in Spartanburg County issued a warrant for Thompson in connection with the incident, according to deputies. He was arrested on Monday.
