An investigation by the Greenville Police Department and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has led to the seizure of illegal gaming machines in five Greenville businesses, according to deputies.
The investigation was focused on businesses inside Greenville city limits and led to the seizure of almost two dozen machines.
Police reports said the gaming machines had names such as Megatouch, Slingo GT2005 and Palmetto Skill.
According to a media release, the businesses investigated were:
The Palace at 56 Airview Dr.
The Coliseum at 528 Haywood Rd.
CT's Grillin and Chillin at 215 Pelham Rd.
Zorba's Lounge at 1414 East Washington St.
Cheers Food and Spirits at 2118 Augusta St.
The businesses are being administratively charged by the SLED, according to the Greenville police.
